The Ardastra zoo has an issue with its cages, and many parents with young children are cautious because of this. The parrot and flamingo attractions are the reasons why most tourists visit this zoo

Ardastra Garden’s zoo has some outstanding attractions; however, it also has a giant issue that need fixing. People think that this zoo is not a very safe place for kids, which is true in some ways. Parents are concerned about the way the cages are built and the lack of protection they provide for children.

The animal cages are very unique at this zoo; there is a wide space between each bar. Children can easily put their hands through to touch an animal, which is not a good thing. This is extremely dangerous because most of the creatures are wild animals such as the jaguars. For the most part, each jaguar is friendly, and they do not growl at zoo guests. These animals are not always kind; they sometimes have bad moods and do not want to be bothered. Young kids will think that these creatures are giant kittens, and they might try to touch them. To prevent this, always hold your child’s hand when near the untamed animals. If you have more than two kids, someone else should visit the zoo with you to hold the other children’s hands. Keeping your kids safe takes a lot of awareness; however, the wild animals are not in all the cages. Once everyone has seen the caged animals, everybody can go to the incredible attractions.

Two terrific events can be seen by zoo guests, but most tourists prefer one to the other. The flamingo show is ok to watch, but it is not worth seeing twice. This event features the birds performing a marching dance as an instructor gives commands. Get your camera ready because you can get some marvelous photos during the show. If you miss your change to get a photo, you can still get an opportunity after the event is over. The parrot attraction is much more exciting; your kids will love feeding each one as it lands on their shoulders. The flying parrot cage is completely safe, so you will not have to worry about a parrot hurting your child. You can take some photographs of these tropical birds too, but an even better photo opportunity can be found at the zoo’s exit. The exit is where you will find two parrots waiting to take a photo. These birds are well trained, and they sit on people’s shoulders proudly as someone takes the picture.

The Ardastra zoo’s wild animal area is not the best place for small kids; however, the attractions make up for this. If your children love parrots and flamingos, you should consider visiting this zoo. Overall, this zoo is a decent place, but you must remember to watch your kids closely whenever you are near the caged creatures.
